Four flatmates, zero volunteers. First one to crack gets the stove.
Discover the game
It's half past seven, the fridge is full and the kitchen is empty.
Everyone has an excuse, and it's airtight: the workload, the sprained wrist, the video that writes itself. Meanwhile, you gently nudge the others towards the pans.
A recipe here, a utensil there, the missing ingredient: the moment a flatmate has everything laid out in front of them, they have no excuse left. And they're cooking.
Four very unwilling cooks.
Your character is drawn at random and kept secret. It's up to the others to guess which cuisine you belong to.

Clovis
Charming, talkative, endless on the subject of wine. Never near a saucepan.

Lisa
Unshakeably cheerful — unlike the utensils that pass through her hands.

Gabriel
Brilliant at the table, disastrous behind it. He holds the pint, not the pan.

Massimo
Passionate about cooking — the kind other people do. He supervises, lovingly.
Twenty minutes of bad faith.
Just long enough to consider ordering a pizza.
Deal, and say nothing
Your flatmate identity stays secret. Around the table, everyone sizes everyone up and nobody volunteers.
Nudge the others towards the stove
Each turn you lay a kitchen card in front of every opponent, betting on who they are. Well aimed, it buries them. Badly aimed, it tips them off.
First one out of excuses cooks
Recipe, utensil, ingredient: three cards from their country in front of them and it's over. Bon appétit to everyone else.
The dish that gives you away.
Nobody cooks a bourguignon by accident.

The object that corners you.
Hard to swear you don't know how to use it when it's already sitting in front of you.

The missing piece.
Third card down, last excuse gone.
